Playing around with screentones for this greyscale piece. I have spent the last few months reading a few mangas I brought back from a trip to Japan last year, and others I picked up in “Manga: Masters of the Art” by Timothy R. Lehmann. The book is a great read, and has a phenomenal selection of artists as well as comprehensive interviews of each, not to mention a selection of their art.
